Please Guys, I am approximately a month away from my pac-nor .45 Savage ML conversion and am contemplating using the hex head Savage breechplug modified to accept a .25 ACP shell, properly headspaced, instead of the shotgun primer. Ain't no sense in trying to re-invent the wheel. Howerver this year I find myself using the VariFlame more often. The are fairly short.

The added bonus is they do not require any trimming. Keep up the good work.

Going to stick with the 209s. The hot, central flame of the large rifle primer is the perfect ignition for muzzle . The same guns shoot to the same spot with the same group size as they do with the .22 Hornet breach plug.
