Full copper plated bullets are a good idea for .357 loads instead of plain lead. Unlike pistol powders of the past, powder position in large cases (45 Colt, 357 Magnum and others) has virtually no effect on velocity and performance. .357 Magnum Pistol (Hodgdon Data) reloading data with 290 loads.
