We can see that the Bible clearly teaches that good people don’t go to heaven at death; instead they sleep in the grave awaiting the resurrection of the dead.

God would not have sent Jesus down to free us from our sins otherwise. People who eat too much pork will also not go to heaven. This gift cannot be worked for, earned, or achieved.
Let’s briefly look at these points.That God exists is an obvious component of the Christian worldview. Eight people who will not go to heaven. Salvation is not by works, but by God’s grace through Christ.What about sincere and good people who are not Christian? But even if you accept this unfashionable view of thought, is it not hard to see where on the continuum of intelligence our ape-like ancestors qualified as having true immaterial rationality? But don’t these new creatures in Flores, so gratingly christened hobbits, prove that the Bible is rubbish, Darwin is right and everything can be explained by evolution? Instead, we must humbly submit to God, turn from our wrong behavior, and turn to Christ for salvation.Copyright 2009 Robert Velarde. But the question, “Don’t all good people go to heaven?” presupposes a number of points. However the thought that “all good people enter heaven” isn’t truth from the Bible. “For God so loved the world, that he gave his only Son, that whoever believes in him should not perish but have eternal life” (John 3:16).
Far more interesting this week, in an irresponsibly speculative way, is what we should make of these Floresians’ spiritual life, if they existed. Jesus, however, gave us the way to fix our sin problem and change that setting. Unfortunately for you, God sees you as an idolater. God wanted to give us a way to free ourselves from our sin, so He blessed us with Jesus Christ. As Ephesians 2:8-9 reads, “For it is by grace you have been saved, through faith — and this not from yourselves, it is the gift of God — not by works, so that no one can boast” (NIV).

Since no one is good as defined by God, the answer is, “No.” Those who enter heaven do so not on the basis of merit, but on the basis of God’s grace as bestowed by Jesus Christ. It is not true. Most people don’t give heaven much thought until they attend a funeral or a loved one dies. He not only exists, but is also creator, designer and sustainer of the universe and everything in it.
