The stock bolt that comes with the Mossberg gun butt protrudes more than 3/8″ (including two washers) beyond the surface that mates to the metal gun action. Thanks for letting us know. A stock for long shots, folds out of the way for up close and personal shots. It takes some modification so the trigger assembly can be removed and so the pistol grip will slide onto the clamp rod. The front of the pistol grip had minor parting-line mismatch / flash which was easily cleaned with emery cloth.

Just a small caution; the 5/6″-18×11/2″ Socket Head Machine Screw (SHMS) that ATI includes for the Mossberg is too short in my opinion. The barrel fold button is a pinch point. Thanks for letting us know. Using the supplied two washers from ATI, their SHMS protrudes just over 1/8″. Thanks for letting us know. I sent an email to Customer Service asking which to order, and received no reply.
