Crit isn't worse on Skadi than it is on any other hunter. Both have good power and passives. Two there is no lifesteal which is vital to any ADC not just Skadi. One you have no attack speed, sure you will be hitting hard, but with no attack speed enemies are going to juke your autos and kill Kaldr. The 20% CDR is nice, but you can get CDR from more effective hunter items.Heartseeker is a great item and it fits this build because of all the power and penetration.Bloodforge is nice, but is unnecessary in this build. Also good that you’re not building them in the front 3 item slots, since they’re quite expensive. Please keep this in mind while reading.

He just dies so easily.I'm still not over the nerf - what made Kaldr so viable was that he persisted in a team fight for a few seconds with her ult, no if he goes into a team fight her ult is completely useless.Nah man, power in itself is better atm cause its cheaper than what crit is. The crit build out-dps's the pen build, it's just not as easy mode because you have to worry about your positioning morebut by buying crit you're kneecapping Kaldr. The 10% pen from Soul Eater will help you hit the 40% pen cap. Since Kaldr can't crit strike it is better if you get power and pen to make him stronger on attacks. Just be wary of going soul eater + bloodforge, as anti-heal would double down on you.Also for a relic, just go beads/aegis everytime. Again, I don't know how anyone didn't punish you for this build. If they have a JG like Kali or Merc you can swap out aegis for upgraded shell. Physical Power +25.

What Kriega suggests is a good build for Skadi. You can see the most recently updated guides on the Skadi is a pushing type of character so it is essential that you build high damage and focus on leveling up Kaldr(2) and piercing cold(1) and you can hold back on permafrost but you don't have to.

I prefer dealing all my damage through her skills and only use basic attacks for additional damage if I feel it's safe to stand in place and use them (generally at the end of my ult+3+1 combo). Instead of getting all pissy and dismissing the entire community over some criticism, you’re better off asking people why they don’t like your build.Transcendence, a great item on Skadi. I see the intrigue of Crit build for Skadi, but she does better with power and penetration.
