All day long they come & go in & out of their cage any time they want. The birds are out of the cage & doing "their thing" at 8:00 am every morning.They spend most of the day on top of the play center eating fresh foods & running around & playing & ( HIM SCREAMING ).

I can't make him more scared of me by trying to throw a cover on him when I know he can just fly away.If I had a hands on relationship with him I could just put him in the cage & cover him till he settles down. You will want to place perches at a variety of different heights so that they can fly and hop around from different heights.This allows them that valuable exercise they so need and want.Plus, budgies love to sit on the perches and flap their wings.Aim to have perches placed at opposite ends of your bird’s cage so that he gets plenty of exercise when he goes from one perch to the other.The act of stretching out feet and wings for birds is therapeutic and giving them a variety of perches encourages this behavior.Remember, not every perch is a good perch.
This has been going on now for approx a week and I have had him for 2 years now, so this is quite a new thing. It's the most annoying high pitched " WHEEEEEP " that you could ever imagine. She can be a foot away from him & the continuous WHEEEEEP will go on & on & on. Hi I have 2 male buggies they white one won’t let yellow one play outside the cage he if he comes out for a treat he will fly out and chase him back in I’ve tried locking him in so can spend time with the others one but still doesn’t stop him how can I get them to be out together and play they are about 9/10 months only had them for 3 months but have made great progress with them scared timid birds i first brought homeIt sounds like your white budgie is bullying the yellow budgie.
All bird/parrot species are welcome! Seems like they have you well trained already with the early starts. He freaks out & starts this screaming the moment his lady flys around & leaves his side. !Thank you for all your help. My boy ... the "Weebil" screams.
If he doesn't like to be misted it will stop the behavior without hurting him and he will learn this is not approriate.

It's so loud & annoying it wakes up people in another apartment. They have cuttlefish, fresh water and fresh budgie and cockatiel seed every day.
He's a really good bird (besides the screeching every morning) he is tame, and happy. It has been doing this 24/7 for about a year Appears otherwise fit and lively, just distressing to listen to all the We have a screaming Cockateil, she was found and given to us about 3 months ago.
