By the way, I've had the same problem. The battery checks out fine and all other electrical components, lights and stereo work fine. ive responded to the last 2 posts took maybe 5 min 2 type and the site said refresh + log in
I have a 2005 rhino 660. it cranks but won't start. i can. PS I checked for power at the starter when I turn the key and had 0 volts so i dont think its the starter. Did you check to make sure you had power off the start circuit of the ignition switch. There's a click in the battery compartment every time I turn the key, which is coming from one of the 3 or 4 relays (?) We put a new battery in and checked the fuse but the problem was easier than I thought! I tested it and had 0 volts on the starter side of the relay, so I replaced it. It worked for me. It was the only side-by-side that Yamaha still offered for 2011 in a 700 cc model. they will not start if the volts are lower than 12.3 or something like that. It worked for me. Im wondering is the new relay bad or is the neutral switch or some other switch the problem + causing a false reading on the starter relay. I started looking online for info and read that if you have 12 volts on the battery side of the starter relay, and dont have 12 volts on the other side when you turn the key, then the relay is bad.
