The suits all look original, except for Gigan's, his looks stupid compared to the miraculous one used in Godzilla Vs. Gigan. Serving as the principal suit actor under the direction of Toho's visual effects director, Eiji Tsuburaya, for some 24 years - while playing Godzilla in 12 movies straight - Nakajima retired from suit acting after completing work on Godzilla vs. Gigan from 1972.

Due to his strength and endurance as a stuntman, he was the perfect choice to wear the nearly 200-pound suit. Godziban (ゴジばん, Gojiban) is an ongoing multi-segmented Japanese puppet web series co-produced by Toho, AlphaBoat, and Studio Koganemushi which premiered on the Godzilla Channel YouTube channel on August 9, 2019. He was always very gracious and enthusiastic about meeting his fans and attended many conventions in the US. Overall, the movie has few redeeming qualities and, as it is relatively well-known in the west, is likely a big reason for the general low regard with which the kaiju genre is viewed outside Japan. My main problem with the film was that most of the attention seemed to be focused on the inferior Jet Jaguar. Although the opening scenes of a lake draining following an earthquake are moderately well done (as is the later destruction of a dam), the bulk of the special effects are dire (at least those that aren't just clips from earlier films).
