Per Jenny’s behaviour towards Forrest, a little TMI here, having known several people who experienced such things, her actions were not at all out of character and quite mild in comparison. I have to say that after reading about life in the South during and after the Civil War I have a new understanding for how awful it was and WHY Southerners still feel the pain of what the Yankees did.
