i chose to hook mine up thru the factory override button just because i didn't want some switch sticking out of my fender and i still wanted the reverse LED to work. All of a sudden, the "R" light goes out and the wheeler goes fine, but soon the light comes back on and the rev limiter is on again. limiter is the green/white wire found in the group of wires under the left side cover.

On your clutch/perch there is a plug that has 2 wires running into it.
