I loved the start of it, with the story of how Nyx, Kalona, and Erebus came to be and how both brothers took it among themselves to make sure all 3 of them were happy. This story starts with Other Erebus, Nyx and Kalona, which I enjoyed reading but it seemed odd that they would have an Other self, why wouldn't Nyx have access to all the realms? These writers have a way of sucking you into the story right when you're about to give up on it. I have read several books by these authors, including the original House of Night series, so I had a pretty good idea of what to expect when I started reading. It starts with the story of Kalona and Erebus in the OtherWorld. This special release will catapult fans to the nearest bookstore as the series once again manages to capture the hearts of every House of Night devotee. I will say I was a bit disappointed with this book because it felt like a transition book. The book was published in multiple languages including English, consists of 323 pages and is available in Hardcover format. Ms. Sure it was interesting to know how Other Neferet was different yet the same as this worlds Neferet, but what bugged me, is how the author subtly put in what political party should be in charge of the country.
