Fortunately, The Lorax is an animated adaptation of Dr Seuss's tale about a town that had all-but forgotten what actual trees were, and were living out their lives in an almost Orwellian bubble of plastic existence and buying bottles of 'air' from an overbearing corporation. There are not very many nice, kind, moral movies or cartoons made anymore, and this one based on Dr. Seuss' Lorax is a breath of fresh air in the most sweet, endearing, classic morally driven cartoon. It keeps the kids quiet watching and that's good. Granted, the 'trees' in the story don't visually resemble what we know as trees, but you get the point. THE DETAILS IN THE SCENES ARE GREAT AND THE STORY LINE IS TYPICAL DR SEUSS (SONGS AND BRIGHT COLOURS).
