I’m about to do this to my bath as part of the One Room Challenge. But when we left it still looked as good as the day we painted it.did you use the high gloss black lacquer spray or clear. A problem occurs when a tension rod is pressed up against a painted wall and a disc of paint comes off when it is taken down. I want the finish to be matte. The lacquer is just a protective top coat. It looks amazing and I would love to try it. It cost use $150. But, just learned today from Moen that we cannot change out our tub faucet without changing out the valve. But I have two to do…tub and shower. It peels off.
