Allow me to put my two cents in about this ship: with over 1000 hours logged into this game, more than half of that was flying the Vulture. An eagle, no contest. I didn't really start LIKING bounty hunting until I started flying this thing.

While the 5A Shield Generators are arguably better for PvP than the 5C Bi-Weave Shield, including them would cause a severe energy shortage that even excellent module priority control won't be able to fix. But engineering helps

I've seen lots of information about how the Vulture is the natural progression for combat, but not much about an actual comparison. The Vulture is great because it's cheap (relatively), it's nimble even though it's a giant small ship, it's got 2 big fat guns, which honestly are actually a bit underwhelming but definitely better than what other small ships offer. My DBS was fairly well upgraded and I've been trying to pour money into the vuture as well, but it turns like a semi-truck compared to the DBS and is so slow that many ships can outrun me in reverse, which has resulted in 6 deaths in less than 8 hours of play. Additionally, if you have access to engineers, the weapons should be further modified to increase efficiency and thermal resistance should be added to the shield.
