I of course couldn't wait to install it and after clearing out most of the console I put it on without modding the console latch and it is now STUCK shut. I can not figure out how to open her up again without breaking it:RANTIN:.

I could pull the latch, but it won't open. So the handle does not pull the latch anymore. It will not open anymore!! A combination of the above might get it open. Try getting a small probe or flat head screwdriver, and well opening the consul try fishing around where the latch is to see if something's in the way.So it turns out that the handle you pull to undo the latch is connected to the latch mechanism.
